Careers
There are many possible jobs related to this specific application of optics. A sports photographer takes fast action shots of sporting events indoors and outdoors (Lee, 2013). A nature photographer takes photos of natural subjects like plants, animals, weather and outdoor scenery (Stevens, 2011). A professional photographer works for a brief period of time with a client or employer, examples include a wedding photographer or a photographer that takes family photos and baby photos (Scott, 2011). All of the people working in these jobs would all benefit from this knowledge of optics because all of them require the use of cameras and different lenses. For an example they would know when an object is farther away the image will be smaller so they have to use a zoom lens. Through understanding of these concepts the photos would be clearer, sharper and overall better quality. Thus making it easier for them to do their jobs and do them better.
